ANZ Marketing Director

On behalf of our Auckland-based client, we’re looking for a Marketing Director to guide the marketing function and develop and drive an Australasian growth-based marketing plan to reach commercial targets and especially realise the untapped potential with our mates across the ditch.

The Marketing Director you will take charge and create the new marketing direction; create and drive new strategies for the NZ, and Australia markets and work closely with the senior leadership team. It’ll be a fast-paced role encompassing all aspects of marketing such as digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, brand development, and leading the development of consumer communications.

This exciting role will suit someone with strong product marketing experience who is passionate about worldwide markets, trends, and products that actually do good! This role suits a strategic, innovative marketer with a global mindset.

The breakdown:

We are looking for a Marketing Director experienced with:

• Minimum 8 years commercial marketing experience 
• Expertise in FMCG/Consumer goods marketing
• Strategically launching new products to market

 Some key responsibilities are:

• New strategic direction of an existing marketing function
• Developing and leading a new product strategy and plan against an already known brand
• Spearheading ways to measure and manage brand health
• Ensuring key marketing activities align with key sales objectives and meeting targets
• Building out innovative export and product growth marketing plans
• Developing and maintaining long-term brand positioning
• Ensure all activities are reviewed against agreed KPI’s so learnings can be captured and implemented
• Team management and development
• Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting/results
• Building and managing dynamic relationships with external agencies and suppliers

• Salary of $130,000 - $140,000 per annum
