Film & Content Director

On behalf of our client, an Auckland-based agency, we are seeking a junior to intermediate level Film & Content Director to bring their strong visual style to this team of highly experienced creatives. This is a great opportunity to be close to the action and level up your career.

Day-to-day, you’ll report to the Content Creation Manager and collaborate with writers, producers, and other creative team members. You’ll contribute to the development of engaging and impactful video content and TVCs to drive clients’ advertising and make them stand out from the crowd. You’ll be no stranger to getting behind the camera and have confidence in taking the lead and going on shoots when required.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and proven creative and multi-talented with some proficiency in post-production and motion design and therefore able to turn their hand to what is needed.

The breakdown

We are looking for a Film & Content Director with:

• Min 2 years’ directing video content in an agency or client-side in a creative team
• A strong portfolio showcasing a unique and edgy style

Key responsibilities and experience:

• Develop and execute a creative vision for video content
• Collaborate with writers, producers, and other creative team members
• Contribute to the development of engaging and impactful concepts
• Touch all areas of production, including producing, videography, and post-production
• Stay on top of budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion of projects
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to maintain a competitive edge
