On behalf of our client, The Pond is now looking for a dynamic senior Front End Developer to join a tech start-up that’s quickly carving its way to recognition through NFT projects that have wowed the community, driving digital innovation through a rich and immersive user web experience. 

Day to day you’ll be working closely with the marketing team to develop marketing websites for upcoming projects and enhancing the creative brand digital experience through creative code decisions. You’ll be self-motivated, thrive on collaboration, and proud to take ownership of your work.

The candidate we’re looking for will think about user experience strategically and holistically, yet also tactically and with care for the details.

You will take a truly creative approach when designing user-centric product experiences, encompassing interactivity, usability, form, and beauty, and not afraid to exercise your initiative with taking point on design ideation from brief to delivery.

The breakdown

We are looking for an experienced Designer in: 

• 4+ years of commercial experience in product or similar environments
• A strong grasp of user-centered design including usability and accessibility concerns

Some key responsibilities are:

• Developing well-considered, engaging and rich digital web experiences
• Knowledge on user-centric design methodologies and usability principles
• Creating seamless user journeys/experiences based on insights and research outcomes
• Bridging the gap between the engineering team, marketing team, and developers
• Takes ownership of projects and thrives in small, dynamic teams to implement scalable, high-performing solutions
• Technical proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and PHP
• Excellent verbal and technical communicator

Advantageous to have experience in…

• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with source control management

Mandatory requirements
