Roles like this are very few and far between in the New Zealand market. So if you’re looking for a new and exciting challenge or a change of scenery leading all national marketing activity alongside a successful team, then this job is for you. 

What are you waiting for?

On behalf of our global client, The Pond Recruitment is looking for a dynamic marketing manager with at least 10 years’ experience for a newly established nationwide position.

You could be a senior marketer looking to move into a more specialised area within the retail, outdoors and sports industry. Or, an ambitious intermediate marketer with a strong track record and love of the outdoors.

Either way, you will have excellent marketing, strategic, organisational and management skills, not to mention commercial acumen and the ability to motivate different customers and retail clients. You’ll also be hands-on, and action-orientated as new products are released.

The winning candidate will take ownership of ‘all things product and retail marketing’ and be responsible for developing loyalty CRM programs, social media campaigns, dynamic e-mail marketing programs, managing events and sponsorship opportunities.

The position collaborates directly with international owners of a global power-house brand with unlimited access to world-class media banks, assets, and information to help define and grow new and existing customer loyalty in the local market.

We are looking for an experienced gun in:

• Market strategy and planning
• Product marketing and new launches
• Research and customer insights
• Senior management, workshops, presentations and reporting

The Package

• Salary $100,000-$110,000
• Relocation package $5,000 (if required)

The Mandatory

• Must own or be prepared to get a firearms licence
• Must be prepared to travel 30 days each year
• Must have a tertiary marketing or sales qualification
