Are you well-versed in all things client service? Looking for a change in 2020 or maybe the flexibility of a contract role? 

Our client, a successful and buzzing integrated Auckland advertising agency, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, experienced Senior Account Manager to fill a crucial gap in their team for a maternity cover for 12 months. 

This person needs to be strategically savvy, with a solid history of agency client service and the ability to tackle a wide scope of cross-channel work across radio, digital, social, eDM, and DM. As part of a tight-knit, family-like team, this role is responsible for bridging the gap between agency and client, liaising and building business relationships whilst managing projects to deliver outstanding creative results. They’ll be efficient, excellent with managing budget requirements and outgoing projects, with a focus on building and maintaining solid relationships with clients. 

This role requires a candidate who has the ability to motivate, inspire and negotiate with others while having plenty of strategic vision and drive for the future of this well-established client base and keep things ticking along!  

Required Experience:

  • Min 5+ years’ experience
  • Agency background preferable 
  • Experience in marketing and cross-channel advertising would be ideal

Required Skills:

  • Ability to run client briefing sessions and process them into creative briefs
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships with high profile brands
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple diverse projects at once
  • Management of the creative teams to ensure projects are completed to budgets and timelines
  • Provide detailed project statuses and tracking reports on achieved achieving strategic goals and objectives
  • Draft new business proposals and assist with new business initiatives 
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • End to end management of all project-related financial planning and forecast
  • Understanding of the need to achieve business goals and promote growth within existing clients

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to assist with forecasting monthly revenue streams and growing income streams from the existing client base
  • Strategic input into key existing accounts

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification (preferred)
