Are you a results-driven Social Media Manager looking for a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity to dip your toes in the world of NFTs, crypto & gaming? Does the idea of being a customer champion on social media channels and driving audience engagement excite you?

On behalf of our client, a tech start-up in the booming sector of NFTs and cryptocurrency, The Pond is looking for a talented and results-driven social media extraordinaire to join the growing in-house Marketing team and drive community engagement through their social media channels.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will involve setting the overall social media strategy for the brand, managing the community messaging through multiple channels (Twitter, Instagram), and provide regular reporting and analysis with initiative to always improve and maximise the communication strategy.

You’ll be very results-oriented, focused on key metrics, and the voice of the brand! The ideal person will be able to take ownership of the brand’s social media channels all the while working closely with the rest of the marketing team to deliver growth, acquisition, and retention. You’ll also closely monitor trends and online spaces for the NFT, crypto, and gaming industry and ensure that you maintain the brand as trailblazers in their sector!

This is a very hands-on role that will suit a strong social media marketer who’s come from a digital marketing background, especially those with an avid interest in gaming, crypto, and NFTs, or the combination of all! (An idle dream?)

The breakdown

We’re looking for a talented gun with…

  • 3+ years of experience in a social media and/or digital marketing-focused role

Some key responsibilities are:

  • Daily management of all social media channels and consistent community management
  • Customer champion within the business i.e., constantly engaging with customers on all digital platforms and various social media channels
  • Ownership of social media platforms, reporting & analysis, and being results-driven and metrics-focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Ability to bring ideas to the table around optimising social media strategy, strong initiative to identify new and creative ways to increase community engagement
  • Translate ideas into growth of audience and visibility for the brand’s product
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Basic graphic design skills, or knowledge with creating graphic assets for social media use (highly desirable)
