My client, a young yet successful video production agency, is on the hunt for a true all-rounder, video production-based Studio Administrator to join their growing team. This is very much a hybrid, intermediate level role, for a talented individual who may be looking to expand into management or producing in the future but is also happy with the grind and the detail required in helping run the administrative tasks of a small office. 

The new hire will report to the Managing Director and will support the whole studio in running more efficiently. The candidate may have come from a similar position in office/studio management or perhaps from a creative background in advertising or creative industries. Experience in Production is key for this role and ideally, they would have had experience in management and office administration within the film, television or advertising industry.

Tasks may span across basic office management (responding to enquiries, managing project workflow, running office errands etc.), account management (attending meetings, interpreting briefs and preparing quotes), production coordination (managing project workflow, scheduling, managing suppliers etc.) and assistance across pre-production, basic finance and accounts.

This role requires a very confident communicator and a motivated self-starter with strong administration skills, true industry nous and proven experience working constructively with colleagues and clients. The ideal person is a natural ambassador, has strong attention to detail and who can see how this role may fit into the bigger picture of their career. 

Required Experience: 

  • Min 3+ years’ experience
  • Experience in a production agency, agency suiting or office management 

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • High attention to detail 
  • Attentive and intuitive 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and self-manage when necessary 
  • Deadline driven 
  • Ability to liaise confidently with clients when necessary 
  • Takes pride in their ability to achieve tasks correctly and accurately

Desired Skills:

  • Project Management skills would be ideal 
  • Basic knowledge of business accounts and finance would be ideal
  • Basic knowledge of sales and marketing (particularly managing social media, blog posts) 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Tertiary Qualification (preferred)
