About Project
This year 2020 has been challenging with Covid lockdown in many countries including my own country New Zealand. Brother Design in the UK contracted me during the Covid Epidemic to design a set of 20 illustrations for their client, Access Health who specialise in comprehensive worldwide healthcare insurance cover for foreign nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates. My brief for the style was to be bold, colourful, modern and simplistic with androgynous stylised people to be used where possible. I designed these illustrations using simple shape, lines to suggest form, and a play on positive and negative space. Working remotely was no problem at all and the client was pleased with the results... the world may be big, but we can all work together no matter what happens.
