Heather Ware has been at The Pond since May bringing her significant expertise in national and international Marketing, and a career delivering business growth alongside creatives and innovative teams.
"I’m loving recruiting in the creative, digital and marketing space. This is what I’ve lived and breathed in my career to date” she says. “The Pond has 150 of NZ's best digital, design, advertising, media, production, and specialist agencies as well as many of Aotearoa's innovative companies as its clients. Many of these companies are hungry for top talent, which makes finding this talent rewarding.”
Heather’s been behind launches and rebrands as varied as Te Papa to TSB, Snapper smart card to the Z Energy rebrand and launching several kiwi export companies including Oi Organic Initiative and Cervena venison. She also founded Oystercatchers NZ a network of marketing and creative colleagues who help businesses make a positive social impact.
Heather's an advocate for having the right people, in the right job with the right team before great things can happen. And with a tighter market for talent, this has become even more essential for success.
“The Pond knows how to help clients find the right candidates, while they can focus on their business as usual. We go the extra distance for every brief that comes through the door, plus we help creative, digital and marketing professionals find rewarding work, realise their market value and achieve their career goals.”
Outside work, Heather makes the most of Auckland's beautiful beaches for walks, swimming, and swinging a golf club at a nearby course. She and her husband Mark love travelling, watching live sports and hanging out with family and friends – including jumping over the ditch to visit their son and daughter, both living in Aussie.
If you're after a genuine, wise and pragmatic consultant, who gets business and takes the time to understand your needs, then contact Heather. She’ll work relentlessly at pace, to get the right people for your team.
