Account Director (8m contract)

Lead the client relationships and mentor two staff in this awarded boutique brand agency from the get-go. Lock in a solid block of income with this full-time 8-month contract and see yourself financially sorted well into 2024. 

We are on the lookout for a senior-level Account Director who can step straight into this 8-month maternity cover contract. You’ll immediately lead a small team of Project / Account Managers and bring your energy, organisation skills and great relationship-building. Experience in a full-service creative agency, design agency or brand-oriented in-house studio is essential. 

The breakdown

We are looking for an Account Director for an 8 month contract who has

• 6+ years’ proven agency experience as a leader in a client service role - brand, design and a full-service creative agency preferred
• A love of design and creativity and working alongside creatives to deliver great design
• A client service mentality – working to meet and exceed client expectations
• Great at communication and comfortably builds strong relationships
• Acute attention to detail
• Always met client budget and timelines
• An ability to multitask and prioritise at pace
• The desire to work in a dynamic, inclusive and supportive environment
• An ability to tell brand and campaign stories with passion and credibility

Proven results and experience:  

• Agency experience (brand and design preferred)
• Can manage design, strategy, digital, creative and  content
• A supportive and experienced manager
• Expert in all aspects of account and project management to deliver
• Driven to achieve commercial, collaborative and creative excellence
• Warm, vibrant and highly capable relationship manager – embodies service excellence
