We're looking to fill a new senior role at a successful creative experiences studio with someone special. 

The role has two key purposes within the agency. The first as a Digital Account Director, providing exceptional customer experiences for existing and new clients through strategic planning, proactive development of relationships and laser-sharp management of projects. The second, to drive growth and obtain new business, as a Business Development Lead, pushing the agency forward to reach its ambitious goals. 

As a Digital Account Director, this person will play an intricate role in the day to day running of senior clients, driving project timelines and budgets. They will be strategically savvy, with a solid history of agency client service and the ability to tackle a wide scope of digital projects. They’ll also be passionate and knowledgeable about creative digital experiences and be able to communicate this clearly to clients, bridging the gap between developers, creatives and clients.

On the other hand, the role is heavily involved in the development and growth of the agency brand, building relationships with major players both in NZ and overseas. New business development, new client relationships and overall business acquisition will be the measure of success, with the opportunity to build on the right candidate’s remuneration package with a commission structure.

The role requires an individual driven by success, a true team player who enjoys seeing the results of hard work and converting new clients into long-term retained clients. This person will understand and be passionate about the offering, acting as a loyal advocate for the brand.

Required Experience:

  • Min 6+ years’ experience
  • Digital knowledge and experience required 

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships with high profile brands
  • Intimate knowledge of the Digital Agency market
  • Ability to identify and convert new opportunities from new and existing relationships 
  • Ability to run client briefing sessions and process them into briefs
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple diverse projects at once
  • Management of the agency teams to ensure projects are completed to budgets and timelines
  • End to end management of all project-related financial planning and forecast
  • Provide detailed project statuses and tracking reports on achieved achieving strategic goals and objectives
  • Write and drive new business proposals, presentations and initiatives 
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
  • Can lead and delegate effectively, and identify strengths within team members
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the need to achieve business goals and promote growth within existing clients
  • A natural enthusiasm for experience-based brand, design and digital strategy

Desired Skills:

  • Experience managing digital projects – including digital experience, apps, web, branding (bonus: AR & VR)

Salary Range:

  • $120,000 - $130,000 per annum + KiwiSaver
