Creative Artworker & Studio Manager

On behalf of our client, we’re on the hunt for a Creative Artworker  / Studio Manager to join a start-up creative agency that has a large client locked in and delivers great work at pace for their loyal clients.

This new role will be key for this studio team, which is passionate about producing great work for its clients. Technical expertise, efficient outputting and attention to detail will ensure success in this position – as is the ability to lead and excel in a fast-paced environment. This agency is transitioning from a freelance model to a full-time team to support a large cornerstone client. The role is a hybrid role as 60 – 70% creative artworking and the balance is the essential file management and studio traffic management required to get the correct files prepped for print or digital.

The ideal person will need to be a confident Artworker / Mac Operator with initiative, attention to detail and a passion for producing consistently on brand aesthetic for the different jobs. The breakdown

We are looking for a Senior Artworker with: 

• Minimum of 8+ years’ of experience on the tools
• Agency studio background preferred

Proven results and experience in… 

• Fast and deadline-driven environments
• Layout and template design
• Quality file saving, management and outputting
• Working with established brand guidelines and brands
• Strong and confident communication with the founder and account management teams
• Technically strong (setting up style sheets, specifications)
• Quality assurance, checking proofs and release
• Flawless attention to detail
• Experience in retouching and grading images in Photoshop (desirable)
• File preparation and database systems management
• Organised and a quick methodical worker.

The reward 

• Salary $90,000 - 95,000 per annum + KiwiSaver

Mandatory requirements

• Must have a relevant tertiary design qualification
