On behalf of our Auckland-based client, an established digital marketplace, The Pond Recruitment is now looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their high-performing Marketing team. 

You will be responsible for spearheading the endeavours to position the client firmly in the minds of other businesses through strategising, developing, and executing B2B marketing campaigns that attract, nurture and resonate with their target audience, and drive conversions. Through effective communication and campaign management, you will showcase the capabilities and solutions to potential business clients.

In addition to B2B marketing responsibilities, you will also be responsible for product marketing and sales enablement to ensure a holistic approach to their B2B growth strategy. A conduit between the product, sales, and marketing teams. 

This role requires a deep understanding of performance, brand and campaign marketing, and the ability to position the brand as the only solution for professionals and suppliers to connect with their desired audiences.

You’ll be ambitious and hands-on by nature, a positive, and collaborative person with the ability to roll up your sleeves up to crack the brief. An upbeat personality is key, and you’ll be confident to reach out, and proactively collaborate with other creatives, marketers, and influencers to deliver quality work.

The Breakdown

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager experienced in: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital market environment
  • B2B Marketing experience

Some key responsibilities are:

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies, identify target customer profiles and industries, and create a comprehensive plan to attract and capture leads.
  • Implement lead nurturing campaigns to engage leads at various stages of the sales funnel
  • Create and execute product marketing strategies to effectively position and promote to a B2B audience
  • Utilise marketing technology and CRM systems to track, manage, and analyse leads
  • Develop engaging and informative lead-generating content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and more
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including PPC advertising, email marketing, SEO, and social media campaigns
  • Continuously analyse lead generation performance, measuring metrics like conversion rates, lead quality, and customer acquisition cost
  • Exceptional project management and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with marketing and sales enablement analytics and reporting tools
