Meet Lucy

As a business-minded creative designer, Lucy brought her own brand to life. She founded FriendsofFriends™️ over 7 years ago and actively leads the output as Creative Director of the busy design studio.

Lucy’s organizational skills and strong work ethic, matched with exceptional attention to detail, makes sure every project is delivered to the highest standard. It’s a set of skills and processes Lucy developed as a freelance designer and on in-house assignments. 

As part of the Y&R NZ studio team, Lucy boosted her technical prowess and had plenty of practice juggling multiple jobs at the advertising hot shop. She worked collaboratively with agency creatives to bring print ideas, digital campaigns, brand identities and activations to life.

Before agency life, Lucy built up a freelance client base straight out of Uni, managing design projects of varying sizes, as well as slotting in to in-house contracts. Her positive attitude and good-humour has always seen Lucy fit seamlessly into any team environment. 

She has extensive experience in creative direction, branding, packaging design (both boutique and FMCG), content creation, social media management, print, publishing, signage and wayfinding design. Lucy also brings her business sense to every project and is a natural leader.
