Bio
Meet Pam.
Originally from Canada, Pam is an experienced UX professional with experience working in North America, Europe and Australasia.
User experience is one of the most vital aspects of the gaming industry, where Pam has spent much of her 10+ year career.
As a UX Lead during her time at Ubisoft and Electric Arts, she was integral in the development of key Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii games such as NBA, FIFA, Deadspace 2 before moving into the renowned Visceral Games studio and EA Mobile. Since then, Pam has worked in Germany & Australia before finally landing on the shores of New Zealand.
Pam excelled at building and applying UX processes and when she moved to Ubisoft, she took that skill and passion and worked with the console team to establish their entire UX process.
Wherever Pam works, her teammates and supervisors are consistently impressed with her creativity, intelligence and dedication, as well as her willingness to offer sage and sound UX advice.
“Our product, Heroes Realm, evolved drastically from a usability perspective under Pam’s careful guidance and attention to detail,” explains Gareth Falkingham, mobile game studio PikPok’s Technical Manager.
“She provided fantastic wireframes covering all use cases of each screen she worked on, making it a breeze to implement the UX/UI designs. Pam always made herself available for questions regarding implementation and was open to discussing alternative solutions to problems.”
Over the years Pam has worked on different projects, building augmented reality, SaaS design for mobile & desktop and interactive websites.
